2023 ALS CEO Soak Fundraiser, a heartwarming and engaging event held in Orlando, FL. Inspired by the success of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, a viral sensation that swept the world a few years prior, this fundraiser sought to raise money and awareness for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS)
Our very own Jack Luker participated as a ‘soakee’ by wearing a business suit and running through water. The Geoffrey Luker Team, which included Jack Luker of LRES Property Management and Tom Luker of Luker and Co Real Estate raised over $8,500, being named #1 in fundraising.
The event took place at the Hangry Bison in Winter Garden, FL, from 5-7 pm. Attendees mingled and had drinks and appetizers prior to being soaked. This event provided a fantastic opportunity for attendees to contribute to ALS Fundraising and awareness and support the ongoing efforts to combat this disease.
ALS is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord, leading to the loss of muscle control and eventually affecting the ability to speak, eat, move, and breathe. The disease can be devastating, and events like the ALS CEO Soak Fundraiser play a crucial role in supporting research, patient care, and awareness initiatives.
The funds raised will undoubtedly make a significant impact on ALS research, patient care, and support programs, providing hope for those living with ALS and their families.
